A PENSIONER has been charged with killing a cyclist in a crash on a Hampshire road.
Jeanette Smith, 69, of Little Corner, Denmea, has been charged with causing death by careless driving after the collision.
William Houghton, 20, was killed after the crash on the A32 at Wickham shortly before 11.15am on January 28.
The charge follows an investigation by Hampshire Constabulary's Serious Collision Investigation Unit into the collision.
Police say Smith was driving a white Citroen C3 when the crash happened.
Mr Houghton, of Buckinghamshire, was rushed to hospital but died of his injuries two days later.
Smith will appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court on August 16.
