Winchester rail commuters face delays after trespasser spotted on line
COMMUTERS are facing rush hour chaos this morning after rails were switched off due to a person on the lines.
Train operators stopped trains running between Southampton and Basingstoke this morning after a trespasser was seen on the line.
It mean that trains travelling from Southampton to Waterloo were disrupted while the incident near Eastleigh was dealt with.
All lines have now reopened but delays of up to 50 minutes are expected until about 10.30am.
Some services were diverted via Portsmouth.
