ARMED police today were stationed on Winchester High Street following the Manchester terror attack.
Two officers were patrolling the city centre at around 4.20pm today following the attack on Monday night, which took place after an Ariana Grande pop concert at Manchester Arena and left 22 people dead and 59 people injured.
The attack was carried out by a lone male suicide bomber who detonated an improvised explosive device in a public space near the box office.
Venues across the south coast will be working alongside law enforcement officers to ensure the safety of the public in the aftermath of the suicide bombing.
