MEMBERS of Test Valley Borough Council's executive have agreed a £15,000 rescue package for a hospital shuttle bus scheme.
The pilot project, organised by the borough, Hampshire County Council and the Acute care trust, was in danger of running out of cash when the county withdrew £25,000 of funding after reviewing its transport budgets.
Test Valley will now pump £15,000 into the project, allowing it to continue for at least one year.

Hampshire County Council will no longer host' the scheme, but will still donate £5,000 and the use of a nine-seat bus.
The shuttle service should make it easier for outpatients, visitors and hospital staff to travel between Andover War Memorial Hospital and the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester.
The bus service will run from Andover hospital to Winchester four times a day, stopping in Andover town centre and in Stockbridge.
