GROUP from Whitchurch will visit France next month as part of its annual exchange programme.
Testbourne Parishes Twinning Association will travel to the Dordogne on May 13, where they will stay with families from Neuvic- Sur L’Isle, the twin town of Whitchurch and its neighbouring parishes.
27 members of the group will take part in the trip, which will include visits to a chateau and a vineyard as well as wine tasting and an evening of crepe sampling.
The trip will then be followed by a return journey for the hosts, who will stay with English families in Whitchurch when they visit next year.
Chairman of the group, Colin Follett, said of the upcoming trip: “It’s primarily about increasing the relationship between us and our twin town in France.
“But it’s also a good opportunity to stay with a French family and get a real experience of French life and culture,” he added.
The association are looking for members and anyone interested should contact Mr Follett on 01256 326909.
