Andover RFC’s 50th anniversary celebratory events continued on Saturday February 20, when an Old Boys reunion match and luncheon was held to celebrate the club’s golden year. The game was played mid morning between a squad of former players, under the moniker of the Walworth Warriors XV and the Foxcotte Select XV. The Warriors side represented players who had played for the club, a number of them at first XV level, when it was at its former residence on the Walworth Industrial Estate. Meanwhile the Foxcotte side was made up of players who solely played at the current residence at Foxcotte Park in Charlton.
