Danebury Grass Track Racing Club are holding the Mark Heatley Memorial, including the Danebury Club Championships this Sunday at Lower Manor Farm, Stockbridge (near Danebury Hill Fort).
Local riders will test their skills against competitors from all parts of the country over more than 40 races, with solos, 500cc and 1000cc sidecars and youth riders, starting at 11.30 am.
Races take place on a flat grass oval approximately 500ms in length, with up to 12 solo riders and six sidecars and are run from a standing start over four laps.
With solos and sidecars reaching high speeds on the straight and having no brakes, an afternoon of fast, exhilarating, highly competitive and enjoyable racing is guaranteed.
