Stockbridge foiled yet again by the weather

First published in Sport by

Stockbridge have once again been prevented from kick starting their season by the weather as the Recreation Ground pitch is unfit and according to clubman Dave Webb 'has ducks floating on it.'

Their Andover League Open Cup game with Hampshire Premier League Otterbourne will be rescheduled.

Andover Town are hopeful their tie in the same competition against Wiltshire Premier side Paul George will go ahead tonight while at Whitchurch United, Jim Macey's squad are all set to do battle with Conference South neighbours Basingstoke Town in the quarter-final of the Hampshire Senior Cup at Longmeadow.

Any further developments weather wise will be on here later.
