Aldershot and Farnham 2 Andover 6.

Andover made it three wins in a row with an impressive victory at Aldershot and Farnham. writes Willl Turmer Captain Jamie Hacker and Will Turner both grabbed braces while there were goals for Sam Cowley and Sam Goacher in a dominant display.

The win continued Andover’s fine form in 2014 and has given them breathing space in the top half of Hampshire League One.

After the match captain Hacker said: “We were fantastic from start to finish and thoroughly deserved the three points and I am proud of the performance.

“Our form has been very good and we are all working hard and we will continue to do so to make sure we keep climbing the table.”

Andover began brightly and deservedly took the lead when Hacker pounced on the rebound from George Allmark’s shot to flick over the goalkeeper.

Aldershot responded but Andover retook the lead when Goacher finished from close range only for the hosts to level once again.

Just before the break the ball broke to Dan Allen on the left wing who found Turner in the area who beat the keeper.

After half-time both teams tightened up but Aldershot let frustration get the better of them with their skipper losing his head which soon saw Andover take control.

Hacker slammed home from a penalty corner before Cowley increased the lead with a classy finish.

With the last touch of the game Cowley found Turner who deflected past the helpless goalkeeper to complete the scoring.
