Court play was to be both fast and competitive throughout as Vixens took an early lead that was to continue until the last quarter.
Their best player was Jo Roberts and they gradually pulled out a ten goal advantage until in the last quarter Aces pulled back the deficit to lose by just two goals.
Aces’ best player, Kathy Holley, had a particularly good match.

Both teams fought hard throughout this equal match.
KWD led by two goals throughout where player of the match Cerrie Perrett proved challenging for the Globe shooters.
The last quarter saw both teams fight until the end, however with sheer determination Globe equalised and in the last few seconds maintained a onegoal lead.
Globe player of the match Sam Hawthorne and GK Emma Colwell successfully defended one last shot to win a very tense and exciting match.
