Hayling United’s win at Pewsey Vale on Saturday meant they leap frog over Andover New Street who finish one off the bottom of the Wessex League First Division.
East Cowes Vics prop up the table, five points adrift of New Street who announced Paul Reidy as the new manager for next season.
Chairman Martin Tobin paid tribute to outgoing boss Matt Styles and number two Matt Davies saying: “On behalf of myself and the committee the club wish to thank the Matts for the work they put in and the fact they gave the youth the opportunity to make their debuts in the team which is what the club will be looking to carry on doing.
We are also pleased to know have the team in the hands of Paul Reidy, another very loyal and respected member of Andover New Street FC."
