The ladies at the Hampshire GC held their Spring Meeting competition recently with the format being Stableford.

There was a very good turn out of 30 players and prizes were presented after an excellent dinner.

The winner was Lori Channon with 37 points, Elaine Withers was second with 32 and Julie Dixon finished third on countback, also with 32.

The best score on the par threes was Jenny Perkins with ten points, the best score on the par fives was Shirley Eason with ten and the secret hole was seven and the best score on that hole was from Tracy Price with a par.

Prizes were presented to Tracy Price who won the 2013 Order of Merit and Sue Davis, the 2013 Ladies Singles Matchplay winner.

The Ladies’ April Medal was won by Tracy Price with an excellent net 67 and runner up was Toni Prince with a net 74.

In other news, Shirley Eason and Madeleine Probyn gained two excellent results in the national Daily Mail Foursomes, beating Basingstoke at home and then Upavon away.

They now face Marlborough away in the next round. Rosemary Parnell and Sue Davis are also representing the club in the county Knight Cup and they have so far beaten Worldham Park at home and host Liphook in the next round.
