In Division 1 of the Whitchurch and District Bowls League Andover B won a close encounter with Oakley A 53-49 (3-2) and hold on to fourth place.
St Mary Bourne Hawks chalked up their second win of the season by beating bottom placed Alton 68-36 (4-1) where Ann Smith, Peter Coward and David Mew recorded the highest winning rink margin for the week in this match (30-4).
In Division 2 Andover A won another close encounter, this time with St Mary Bourne Eagles 51-50 (3-2). The winning shot for Andover was their last wood they bowled in the match.
St Mary Bourne Merlins lost their Division 4 match away against Old Basing Royalists 48-53 (1-4) and remain third from bottom.
Andover C move into top spot following their 57-46 (4-1) victory at Oakley C.
