Basingstoke & NH IV v Longparish II.

Longparish II lost wickets at regular intervals to a strong Basingstoke attack but U14 Scott Sturt dug in for an impressive 44 as they were all out for 80 with Grant Jones, Ash Neal and Tom Hartgill taking three wickets each.

Oliver Coetzee bowled well, Martin Savage picked up a couple of early wickets and Sturt took 1-32 but they could not prevent Basingstoke passing the target with seven wickets remaining.

Hungerford II v Longparish III.

A bizarre game of cricket saw many of Hungerford's first XI drop eight divisions to take on Longparish III who, bar a couple of old nags are principally U13 and U15 cricketers.

Harry Samways picked up a couple of wickets and Callum Giles and Mali Colloredo one each as Hungerford II posted an imposing 293-4, a target which ‘Parish III failed to reach by 166 runs with U15 Rory Kerr hitting 27 and Samways 31.

Hursley Park U15 v Longparish U15.

Longparish travelled to Hursley Park for the quarter-final of the Millard Cup and batted first and posted a competitive 105-7 from their 20 overs with Scott Sturt hitting 27, Dan Bearpark 26 and Rory Kerr an unbeaten 23. In reply, Hursley's Tom Flynn impressed with an unbeaten 39 but a tight performance in the field by Longparish secured a 22 run win with Harry Samways the pick of the attack with 3-7.
