Longparish v OT Romsey II.

Longparish won the toss and opted to bowl and reduced top of the table OTs to 9-2 as Harry Martin picked up two quick wickets. John Dowling and Nick Destefano put on 92 for the third wicket before Dowling fell to Alex Coetzee for 52, Destefano finishing on a measured 102 as OTs closed on 227-7 with Martin the pick with 3-30. At 51-1 Longparish looked to be on target but a rash of cheap wickets left them reeling. Adam Lister and Ben Gardner put on 87 for the fourth wicket before Gardner was caught for 43 and Lister soon followed for a season best 52. Martin, Scott Sturt and Matthew Jackman looked to up the rate down the order but the innings ultimately closed 20 runs short with Jackman unbeaten on 24.

Ashford Hill II v Longparish III.

The Colts were the masterminds behind Longparish III's six wicket win at Ashford Hill II.

Callum Giles, Nathan Smith, Will Arnold, Jamie Blackmore and Dan Bearpark all picked up a wicket as Ashford Hill II posted 157-6 from their 42 overs.

The reply got off to a bad start as " in form" opener Alan Longden departed lbw but William Samways 28 and Jamie Blackmore 29 got the innings back on track.

William Jackman added 19 and U13 Jordan Blackmore hit an unbeaten 45 to see Longparish past their target with seven overs remaining.

The Under 11s are currently the form horses in the Longparish stable and finished their league campaign unbeaten after an impressive home performance against IBM Hursley U11.

Louis Pereira, Jack Proctor and Bruno Matley hit runs and Jude Cooper-Smith and Ben Wills took wickets in the 42 run win.

The Seconds’ game at St Cross V was abandoned.
