Andover scraped a win in a close scoring game away at Oakley 52-50 (3-2) to ease their relegation fears in Division 1 of the Whitchurch Bowls League.

St Mary Bourne Hawks remain third from bottom after their game was called off.

In Division 2 Whitchurch Yellows won convincingly 72-42 (4-1) away at Old Basing but still need one more point to be certain of promotion next season. Pam Robinson, David Trigg and Ron Randall recorded the highest winning rink margin in this match (32-10).

Whitchurch Blacks had a bye and slip to fifth.

Andover A made it four wins in a row by beating St Mary Bourne Eagles 67-54 (4.5-0.5) away and climb to third. Eagles however now find themselves in the relegation places.

Andover C became Division 4 champions after beating Oakley 60-39 (4-1) at home.

St Mary Bourne Merlins also won their game at home to Old Basing Royalists 30-24 (3-2) after defaulting on one rink due to the late arrival of team members.
