Queen Charlotte stayed top of the Andover Pool League Premier Division with a 7-2 win over the Royal Oak.

Arms B kept the pressure on with a 6-3 win over Arms FD while Central got off the mark with a well-earned 5-4 win over The Arms. The QCC’s continued their good run with a 6-3 win over Clatford.

The big game of the week saw Arms A play the Demons and Sean Curtis’s side were unable to make a 5-1 lead count as Demon’s clawed it back to 5-4.

Battle Stations slipped down to third as they lost ground with a 6-3 defeat at Prince Regent. The Fatties moved second thanks to two wins in a week, a 6-3 win over the Beebies and another 6-3 away at Hurstbourne.

The Beebies made it two losses in a week as they blew a 4-2 lead to hand Arms ‘n’ Legs a first win and Anton Harts stayed top of the pile with a 5-4 win over Lucky Tavern.

Folly Flyers stayed top of Division 2 despite a heavy defeat, losing 7-2 to the Wolversdene Warriors and Anton Decs won for a second time 7-2 at Railway Club, while New Street Masters edged a close match against New Street FC, 5-4.

Hurstbourne B opened up a big gap at the top of Division 3 with a 7-2 win over second placed Plougher Rangers, but with Eagle Leftovers losing 9-0 to Global Warriors it meant the gap between first and third stands at 25 points.

In the week’s other game, Wyke Down moved away from the bottom with a 5-4 win over bottom side Central Hedgehogs.

Lamb Chops A and B went head to head and the A team maintained their unbeaten start with a 5-4 win.

Wyke Down ‘n’ Outs moved level on points thanks to a 6-3 win at the Wreck Heads while the Smash Heads took out the Snipers with a 6-3 win to go clear third. It was another week to forget for the Sambuca Squad as they lost again, 7-2 to Clatford A.

The Barbarians’ elation at their first win was soon over as they lost 8-1 at Central Saints who stayed level on points with top side Town Mills who also won 8-1 over Chute.

The battle of the Station sides went to Play Station as they won 6-3 against the Phoenix, and the Foresters won 7-2 at home to the Beavers.
