Grass track racing is a very family orientated motorcycle sport which first began in the 1920s. Racing takes place on a grass oval track which is approximately 550 metres in length, and consists of up to12 solo riders and six sidecars on the line from a standing start and each race consists of four laps.

Grass track racing is very fast and is unlike any other motor sport and riders and spectators can always enjoy high-speed action. On the straights both solos and sidecars can reach high speeds of 60mph and more within three seconds and having no brakes, there is guarantee an afternoon of fast, exhilarating, highly competitive and enjoyable racing.

During the day a raffle will take place where the proceeds will be presented to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

The club have asked and are hoping for a flyby to be held by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance at some point through the day.
