WELCOME Stranger got back to winning ways after having a week’s rest.

They got off on the front foot straight away when James Rogers latched on to a Micky Clark’s kick to score but Barton started to find their feet and scored a welldeserved equaliser.

Stranger had Clark to thank as he made a good save to keep Barton at bay to go in at the break all square.

Stranger started the second half slowly after making a change but found themselves in front after some good work from Hiroshi Nidaira and Jake McEntee to slide in Gary Brown to score.

They continued to play some good football and Luke Soulby put in Jake McEntee for a one on one with the keeper to make it 3-1.

Mark Wilson and Richard Arnold both had good game as makeshift centre backs as Stranger came out on top against a hard-working Barton side.
