OVER 90 golfers descended on Tidworth Golf Club last weekend for the annual Club Championship.

The two day event, which also contains the Ladies Championship and Junior Championship, attracted 93 golfers over two days of impressive golf.

In the juniors, Katrina Duncan finished the first day with a gross 78, followed by Max Wrixon and Alexi Cox, who who both scored 80.

Katrina carried her good form into day two, carding a gross of 81 to win the championship with a total of 159 over the two days, while Elliot Taylor finished behind on 160 with an impressive second day score of 77.

Katrina was also crowned the ladies champion for the second year running.

Meanwhile there was huge excitement in the Club Championship as two players forced a play off for the first time in many years.

Andy Snellgrove and Ken Wilson both finished with a total of 144, forcing a playoff where Snellgrove won to become the 2015 Club Champion.

Captain Mike Cripps and ladies’ captain Jane Cripps presented the prizes alongside vice captain Ian Spalding.
