Andover Ladies 2nd XI 2 Havant Ladies 3rd XI 3

ANDOVER Ladies Seconds’ impressive run finally came to an end in a 3-2 home defeat to Havant Thirds.

Andover started poorly, going behind after some lucky play for the visitors.

A long through ball hit the post and fell kindly to a Havant forward for a simple tap-in.

Despite several opportunities Andover could not find an equaliser.

Their inability to finish eventually cost them dearly as Havant soon doubled their lead.

Andover pulled a goal back through Jacqui West after good work from Carley Lambert.

Immediately after, they equalised when Janette Griffiths-Jones slotted home a cross from West.

Andover were on top at this stage but they were caught on the break when Havant scored a third with just a few minutes remaining.
