CHARLIE Gunson kept Andover Town's promotion dreams alive with a brace in his side's 2-0 victory against Team Solent on Tuesday night.
The forward netted twice in the opening 25 minutes to seal a vital win in Town's penultimate Wessex Premier League game.
The result keeps Town in touching distance of promotion rivals Sholing and Blackfield and Langley, with just a point separating second and fourth place.
However with Blackfield having two games in hand and Sholing one, Town will have to hope results go their way in the race for promotion to the Southern League.
Crucially third placed Sholing face-off with second placed Blackfield on Thursday night before playing Fawley away on the final day of the season.
Meanwhile Blackfield face a trip to Whitchurch on Saturday.
Andover Town will play Fareham Town at the Portway on Saturday in their final game of the season.
Kick-off will be at 3pm.
