ANDOVER Hockey Club prepared for the start of the new league season with their annual Clint Dickie tournament.
The event, in memory of founding member Clint Dickie, took place earlier this month at the hockey pitches at John Hanson school.
The tournament was split over a weekend, with the Juniors playing on the Saturday and the Senior members competing on the Sunday.
Jamie Hacker’s side were the winners on the final day, scooping the trophy in the Senior section.
The hockey club are hoping for a membership boost this year following the success of Team GB’s women’s hockey team, who won gold at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
The club have formally produced internationals, including David Hacker, who represented Wales at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, and current Scotland star Bex Condie.
