ANDOVER New Street were brought back to reality on Saturday as they were thrashed 5-1 by visiting AFC Stoneham.
The Wessex League Division One bottom dwellers went into the game off the back of a fantastic 1-0 victory over former league leaders Laverstock and Ford in their previous fixture.
But any hopes of back-to-back league wins were quickly crushed by The Purples on Saturday.
They cruised to victory thanks to a brace from Sergio Caballero and goals from Ashley Ledger, Martin Rogers and substitute Oliver Forbes.
Luke Cairney, who scored Street's winner in the Laverstock victory, scored Andover's only goal of the game.
Andover New Street face a trip to Fleet Spurs this weekend.
