GAME OFF: Andover's crunch derby with Whitchurch called off due to frozen pitch
WHITCHURCH United's crunch clash with local rivals Andover has been called off again, due to a frozen pitch.
The fixture, re-arranged from a previously postponed game from December, was due to be played at Longmeadow tonight.
However officials inspected the pitch this afternoon and deemed it unplayable due to a frozen patch near to one of the goals.
The fixture will be re-arranged for a later date.
Whitchurch will continue their fight for survival away at AFC Portchester on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Andover turn their attention to their away fixture at Hamworthy United this weekend.
