Upper Clatford v Rotherwick ITW.

Following the excellent win from the previous week Adrian Harding's team followed it up with a four wicket win over Rotherwick ITW.

Winning the toss and and asking Rotherwick to bat had an immediate result in Andy Cattle (1-20 from ten) having opener Buckingham caught at slip from the fourth ball. Rotherwick then started to rebuild through Wheeler and Wade until Justin Nicel (3-21) was introduced and three wickets fell in an over.

Once again they restarted and the middle order took the score to 122 after 41.4 overs. Other wicket takers were Richard Southwood 1-29 , Matt Glenn 1-18 and Sam Harding 1-19 .

Clatford started well enough with last week’s match winner Nicel looking in the same sort of mood, until he holed out for 31. Another wobble took place losing Cattle and Adrian Harding then Matt Glenn (14) joined the ever patient Rennie, but again was caught with the rain looking ever more likely to play it's part once again. Tony Boakes steadied the ship finishing the game 19 not out, after Rennie (26) went the same way as Glenn. Southwood (8) and Sam Harding (10), saw the game out for Clatford reaching their target with over four overs to spare.
