Longparish v Australian Over 60s XI.
Longparish played host to an Australian Over 60s side comprised of State and Grade cricketers from yesteryear currently on a four week tour of the UK promoting international seniors cricket.
John Woodcock presided over the toss which was won by Longparish who opted to bat. William de Cani and Wilts over 60s captain Graham Candler opened the batting to a hostile spell from Queensland's Colin Cooke.
Michael Taplin hit an unbeaten 40 and Kelvan Finch returned to bat in the Longparish middle order as they posted 217-6.
Andy Jones bowled a useful spell in front of a crowd that included many past Longparish players and Stirling Hamman top scored for Australia with an unbeaten 39 as his side closed 30 runs short of the target.

Hungerford v Longparish.
Longparish batted first, William de Cani the first to fall lbw to Wooldridge in the sixth over.
Paul Blackmore was adjudged caught behind for 35 and Ben Gardner departed for five, caught off a bump ball.
Alex Coetzee added 26, Justin Jackman 22 and Barry Blackmore 16, as Longparish were dismissed for an under par 183.
In reply Harry Martin and Matt Jackman bowled 20 overs from one end with scant reward, while Alex Coetzee charged up the hill to take 5-37. Gardner and Barry Blackmore picked up a wicket each from the same end but could not prevent Hungerford scraping a three wicket win with Aussie Ringland unbeaten on 66 at the close.
Longparish II v Over Wallop.
Longparish II won the toss, opted to bat and lost the early wicket of in form opener Gary Taplin lbw for four early in the piece.
Scott Sturt thrashed a quick 37 and Ed Gairdner hit a magnificent 104, his second hundred in as many weeks.
Bob Sturt displayed some superb stroke play before departing lbw for 94 and skipper Warren Bonathan was unbeaten on 34 as Longparish II closed on 317-5.
Pinchbank and Gyles hit 41 and 42 respectively for Over Wallop but could not prevent Longparish II securing a 193 win with Nick Dawnay the pick of the bowling with 2-11 from seven overs.
Longparish U11 v Sparsholt U11.
Longparish U11 batted first and got off to a flyer as Bruno Matley hit a rapid 16. Ben Wills (21) and Kieron Mchenry (7) kept the scoreboard moving and Harry Cardno was unbeaten on 19 but Louis Pereira was the star with the bat stroking a superb 32.
Harry Cardno took 2-5 in a 52 run win for Longparish.
