HAMPSHIRE second teamer Asher Hart smashed a boundary-strewn century to lead Andover to an eight-wicket victory over Old Tauntonians & Romsey, who plunged to a third successive Southern Premier League Division 1 defeat at London Road.
Hart cracked three sixes and ten fours in his 102, which swept the Lions past Old Tauntonians & Romsey's 221-9 with seven overs to spare.
He enjoyed healthy partnerships with fellow opener Ali Hooper (28) and later Glyn Treagus, who made an unbeaten 51.
Stuart Tognarelli struck an equally aggressive 90 for Old Tauntonians & Romsey, hitting three maximums and eight fours.
But with Hart on song, their 221-9 (Joe Vaughan 38) target proved a cakewalk for Andover, who celebrated their first win.
