Vernham Dean adapted well to the wintery conditions and played some of their best football of the season.

They took the lead through man of the match George Higgins and soon added another through Sergei Zagaziva. In the second half further goals from Higgins, Zaraziva and Jordan Dawes completed the scoring. In the wintery conditions the sporting way the game was played was a credit to both sets of players. Clatford created all the play in the first half of this cup quarter-final. Some slick team passing created several chances finally resulting in a goal from Jacob Williams. An unlucky rebound was quickly pounced on by Hatch Warren to level just before half-time. Despite great defending from Dan Bearpark and Ollie Dykes, Hatch Warren nudged ahead to win.

Upper Clatford U13 9 Lyndhurst U13 4 .

Following the bout of severe weather, Russell Removals sponsored Clatford finally got some match time in. With snow falling and the pitch reduced to a quagmire, both sides battled in challenging conditions to secure a place in the League Cup semi-final.

Second Division Lyndhurst scored first and although Clatford soon equalised the lead switched back and forth with the score sitting at 4-4 midway through the second half. Clatford finally broke the deadlock and a flurry of goals followed. Man of the match was Matthew Cliffe. Goal scorers were Michael Ifftner (3), Brandon Pude (3), Mathew Clark, Ben Connor and James Hams.

Littleton Leopards U13 3 Ludgershall Sp U13 10.

Sports’ U13s returned to the top of the table with three games in hand. Keegan Gale’s vision is the inspiration behind this talented squad where man of the match, right back Josh Chandler was excellent in a team performance which ticked every box as Sport's maintained their unbeaten league campaign. Sam McKeown (4), Sam Withers (4) and Josh Chandler (2) provided the finishing touches.

Thatcham U11 Amber 3 New Street Youth U11 2.

Be Wiser sponsored New Street lost away to Thatcham Tornadoes. Both teams battled hard to deal with the very wet conditions and Street took the lead in the first half through Myles Wakeham only for Thatcham to equalise shortly after. Despite Street playing the better football in the second half Thatcham scored twice before Kadeem Hibbert found the net with the last kick of the match. Rhys Evans was awarded man of the match for his outstanding effort in midfield.

Shooters U10 5 Fordingbridge Town U10 0.

Another win for Shooters despite the weather conditions. Harry Ollington set up a brilliant goal for Thom Yates giving him his first hat-trick of the season with a further two goals from Christopher Collyer. Man of the match went to goalkeeper Brandon Wilkes who kept another clean sheet. Worthys U8 v Shooters U8.

This was easily Shooters’ best performance of the season. Despite being behind at half-time, they refused to give up, and battled back to earn a well deserved draw. Nathan Miller, Marc Cleary and Lebo Khoase typified their great spirit in a tremendous all round effort by Shooters.
