Waterlogged Rec puts paid to Stockbridge v Team Solent tonight

Stockbridge FC were left kicking their heels yet again today as their Recreation Ground failed to recover after the Weekend's deluge and their Wessex League Division One match with Team Solent was called off.

With an Andover League Open Cup semi-final with Andover Lions Reserves next Tuesday and the league's rules stating that postponed matches be played as soon as possible after the original date, it may mean that the clubs could be asked to play over Easter with the available days rapidly running out.

This Saturday Stockbridge are away at Whitchurch United but with yet another wet weekend forecast everyone will have fingers crossed for some action.
