Injury time goal denies Overton
Locks Heath 2 Overton Utd 2.
As expected the game started with a very high tempo and Overton looked sharp all over the pitch and within four minutes good work from the central midfield allowed Danny Houseman to find Alex Jupp wide left who put his side in the lead.
Although looking comfortable for the first half hour a silly mistake allowed Jordan Neal to equalise for Locks Heath.
After the break Overton were looking to play open, attacking football probing Locks Heath's defence and Henry Salmon should have scored from a corner, Chris Lavisher also went close but the Locks Heath keeper kept them in the game by pulling off three good saves, With 15 minutes left Overton keeper Sean O’Brien had to be stretchered off with a bad hip injury and Jamie Smith had to go in goal and within minutes he had to pull off a good save.
Overton went looking for more goals again and Lavisher was denied then Myles Englefield was clean through only to see his effort cleared off the line but right on time Lavisher played a perfect pass for Houseman to drill the ball home, Deep into injury Smith pulled off another good save but the ball was not cleared and Neal saved a point for Locks Heath.
Man of the match was Ben Dibbern.
