ANDOVER Town will go in to their second campaign to Wembley in high spirits as they look to beat fellow Sydenhams Wessex Premier League side Fawley Town for a place in the second qualifying round.

Having thrashed New Milton 5-0 in the Hampshire Senior Cup in midweek, Town will want to impress in front of their own fans once again when they play at the Portway Stadium on Saturday.

It is expected that a strong side will be named to face The Oilers, with manager Neil Benson wanting to get as far as the first round proper.

This would be the most successful run in the club’s history, having been dumped out by Bradford Town 4-0 in their first outing last year.

With goalkeeper Jamie Bray doubtful after a calf injury during the FA Cup loss to Hamworthy, Michael Weatherall may keep his place, after an excellent performance mid-week.

However with regular number one, Bray, close to recovering, Weatherall could find himself relegated to the bench.

After a strong performance in defence from Connor Cocklin, he could keep his position over Charlie Gunson, who has been utalised in the wing back positions this season.

Matt Scott and Bobby Swayne are likely to renew their defensive partnership, having been part of a team who have let in seven league goals all season.

Liam Gilbert is also likely to keep his position in front of the defence, having scored twice against New Milton.

Sam Pekun, who played a pivotal role in the team on Tuesday night, is likely to keep his place, with Oliver Yates and the returning Danilo Cadete fighting for left wing slot.

Lewis Benson, who was used as a second half substite against New Milton, is likely to return to the starting 11 but will face stiff competition from the likes of Charlie Gunson and Alex Dockree, who both played well in the previous game.

After a lack of attacking options in the recent weeks, the return of Suahel Odeh and Kevin Gibbens will make selection hard given that Tommy Wright made a very convincing performance having started in midweek.

Fareham will name a strong team to try and beat a side, who sit five points above them having played one more game.

After losing 3-1 to Newport (IoW) in the cup on Tuesday, a revamp of the defence is in order, as Matthew Hawkins and Michael Edgar will both want to keep their positions.

Dylan Knight will likely keep his place having scored twice in their last league game.

Andover have had the more successful league start, with 5 points over their opponents.

However, with Fawley putting a respectable performance in last season, finishing 17th, they will be looking to challenge the Andover side.

Andover Town Vs Fawley AFC will be played at the Portway Stadium on Saturday 5 August.

Kick-off will be at 3o'clock, with the gates opening approximately an hour before.
