WHITCHURCH manager Carl Bennett claims that a refereeing decision ‘cost’ them during their 2-1 defeat to Team Solent on Saturday.
The Jam Boys boss was left fuming after referee Anthony Cross denied his side a penalty when Aaron Jarvis appeared to be tripped inside the box on the stroke of half-time.
Bennett described the incident as a “a blatant penalty” but Cross disagreed and awarded Whitchurch a corner instead.
