JAYDYN Englefield scored a hat-trick for Andover New Street as they thrashed Wessex League Division One bottom side East Cowes Victoria 5-1.

The teen star took home the match ball at Foxcotte Park on Saturday, rounding up an impressive all round performance with three well taken goals.

He was joined on the score sheet by Lee Morris who netted twice as Street eased to victory against the Vics, who took the lead through a Zac Harris penalty.

The win will ease Andover's own relegation fears as they moved 13 points clear of second from bottom Pewsey Vale, who lost 3-0 away at Laverstock and Ford at the weekend.

New Street face 6th placed Alton Town at home on Saturday.
