DANNY Phillips scored a brace as Whitchurch United smashed Bournemouth 7-3 at Longmeadow on Wednesday night.
The striker picked up man-of-the-match for his two goal performance in the Wessex Premier League match-up, just ahead of team mates Rudy Plummer and Dave Parry who both scored braces.
Scott Hassell was also on the score-sheet for United, who have now thrashed the Poppies twice this season after beating them 6-0 in the FA Vase in October last year.
The result means Whitchurch sit in 13th in the Wessex Premier League ahead of a tough away trip to Sholing on Saturday.
