ANDOVER Lions recorded their third league win of the season last Saturday as they beat Infinity 2-1.
Jamie Pollard and Oliver Yates both scored for the Lions, who now sit in 12th in the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division.
Andover initially took the lead in the first half but were pegged back by the visitors thanks to a 41st-minute Thomas Smith goal.
However the hosts scored once more in the second half to secure all three points.
The Lions did not perform so well in midweek as the were thrashed 8-2 at home by high-flying Winchester Castle.
David Philpot scored a hat-trick for Winchester, who are now fourth in the Senior Division.
Winchester’s other scorers were Liam Hall, Mathew Hawkes, Maciej Marcinkowski and Liam Magee.
