WHITCHURCH United moved up to 18th in the Wessex League Premier Division after they beat Cowes Sports 3-0.
Danny Phillips scored the opener and then former Newbury and Thatcham man Shaun Foster scored his first goal for the club to make it 2-0 at half-time.
Shane Sims added a third goal after the break as the Jam Boys cruised to victory.

Manager Carl Bennett has made a number of other additions to his squad with former Crystal Palace trainee from QK Southampton Ross Bourke joining along with Declan McCarthy from AFC Totton and Babucarr Bojang who arrives from Alresford.
McCarthy and Bojang both played against Cowes and talking after the game Bennett said: “I am happy with the squad we have and feel we can finish mid table. It is a matter of getting the results now.”
Tuesday’s Russell Cotes Cup game at Fleet was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
They will hope for better luck on Saturday when they travel to high flyers Portland.
Then on Wednesday night, Whitchurch entertain South Wonston Swifts in the Andover Open Cup.
