Coach Unai Emery insists Paris St Germain will not be distracted by Wednesday’s clash with Real Madrid – but wants to prepare the best way possible by beating Toulouse.

The Ligue 1 leaders travel to the Stadium Municipal on Saturday looking to reinforce their 11-point lead before switching their focus to the Champions League.

Emery told the club’s website: “Every match is good preparation for the next. I am only thinking of Saturday’s game, the priority is Toulouse.

“It is important to send out a good message before travelling to Madrid.

“Toulouse are a very competitive team who have won their last two games since changing their coach (Michael Debeve replacing Pascal Dupraz), without conceding a goal.

“It will be difficult to find space. They will be very motivated in front of their own supporters.”

Defender Thiago Silva added: “Last season, we lost away to Toulouse. They are a good team at home and apply a lot of pressure.

“This year, we will have to play well to win there.”

Emery has a fully-fit squad available after midfielder Adrien Rabiot returned to training with the squad following a hip injury. Kylian Mbappe’s suspension imposed on Thursday at a league disciplinary hearing applies only to the Coupe de la Ligue.

Toulouse welcome back striker Andy Delort but will be without Somalia (ankle) and the suspended Christopher Jullien and Ibrahim Sangare.

Le Tefece were hammered 6-2 in the capital back in August and goalkeeper Alban Lafont knows they must avoid a repeat showing.

The teenager said in a press conference broadcast on the club’s website: “We have bad memories of the previous match. We have to be better defensively on Saturday on our own pitch.

“The Paris team are all big players. It’s a big match and we have to prepare as best we can.”
