Vernham Dean racer Simon Tilling was in action on the Indy Circuit at Brands Hatch in the Excool OSS Championship recently with two races planned after qualifying.

Tilling and 24 other cars qualified and at the end of the session he had posted his fastest time of 48:34 which would put him on the grid in 16th position.

Tilling’s first 20 minute race later in the day was won by Craig Fleming in a Juno TR 250 with Tilling completing 24 laps in ninth position with a fastest lap of 47.61.

Race two was on a wet track with rain still falling but unfortunately Tilling pulled out with mechanical problems on the green flag warm up lap and took no further part.
