ANDOVER Hockey Club Seconds made it three wins from their last three games with a 5-2 home win over Trojans Thirds.

In an end-to-end encounter, it was Andover who took the lead when a great pass from Sorensen was touched in by Frost.

Andover doubled their lead several minutes later before goalkeeper Toth was forced into making crucial saves to maintain the home side’s advantage.

Andover scored again to make it 3-0 before Trojans pulled one back from a well worked short corner.

The home side restored their three goal advantage only for Trojans to peg them back once again before the home side sealed the victory to run out 5-2 winners.

Meanwhile Andover Men fell to a narrow defeat in their Test Valley derby, losing 4-3 away to Romsey.

The visitors started on the front foot but an unfortunate lapse of concentration led to Romsey opening the scoring with a close range flick at the back post.

Romsey gained a penalty flick soon after which narrowly beat goalkeeper Conor Baverstock.

Andover snatched one back before half time through a fine drag flick by James Pawley.

After the break Romsey restored their two goal lead before quickly adding their fourth.

Andover pulled one back five minutes from time through Tom Dickinson and added another soon after but could not complete the comeback as Romsey held out.
