ANDOVER’S management have called for a united effort as the first team enter a critical phase in this season.
Director of rugby Andy Waite said: “In the second half of the season the squad has worked hard and improved no end, despite the results, and we have played all the top teams.
“We have five winnable games left and we need to win at least three, if not four to give ourselves a chance to stave off relegation. The results have not reflected the effort which has gone in and even last Saturday we put three tries on a tough Trojans side and we must now move up another gear.”
The run in begins tomorrow with a game against Petersfield at home and there are then three more home games against Kingston, Old Whitgiftians and Old Wimbledonians and Waite is urging everyone connected with the club to get down to the Goodship Ground and create an atmosphere to help the side.
