Parkwood Document Solutions-sponsored U12s won the Warminster tournament on Sunday.
They opened against hosts Warminster and Max Romer-Lee scored both tries as they won 10-0. They then defeated Trowbridge 10-0, with Max and Sam Tomlin scoring. In the semi-final Andover faced a fired up North Dorset and had to work hard for a 10-0 win with tries from Angus Wood and Tomlin.
In the final they faced Warminster again, and with seconds to go the ball spilled over the try line and Eddie Tomlin reacted first to score the only try of the game.
BCP sponsored Andover U9s travelled to Warminster for the festival on a glorious spring day.
The first pool game was against Warminster and won 1-0 then a big Trowbridge side were held 0-0. The final game against Avonvale was a 3-0 win. This put the squad second in the pool and they went on to play a strong Devizes in the semi-final. This was another tough game and was lost 1-3.
