Oakwood sponsored Andover took to the road early on Saturday morning and the long drive to Dulwich took its toll.
The visitors turned up later than expected with two players unable to make the kick-off. Andover were dominated in the scrum and were soon trailing 17-0.
Before half-time Andover started to play with some passion and Nick Rowe and young Callum Staff fed winger Pete Mort, but he was unable to gather the pass as Andover looked like they were about to score. The forwards also built up good momentum and were inches away from crossing the line, but the home defence held strong.
After half-time the lead went to 32-0 before Rowe once again broke through went in under the posts. Alleynians were able to score twice before the end of the game, bringing the final score to 44-5.
Andover face an in form and resurgent Old Wimbledonians on April 18 in a winner takes all gamefor both sides, as the victor will retain their London Division status, while the other faces the prospect of relegation to their respective county league.
