A man killed by a falling shop sign has been identified in reports as a young lawyer from New Zealand.
Jacob Marx, 27, died on Monday when he was hit by a metal sign which fell from a betting shop in Camden, north London.
A sign covering the length of a William Hill bookmakers in Camden Road fell to the pavement, fatally injuring him.
He was treated at the scene for a head injury but died later in hospital.
The New Zealand High Commission said it is providing consular assistance to his family, who are understood to be travelling to the UK.
The Evening Standard reported that Mr Marx had been in London with his girlfriend Natalie Chung since September and the couple had planned to travel together.
Miss Chung's brother Tim told the newspaper: "He was a really, really nice guy. He was really smart and I always saw him as a really nice person."
Mr Marx had been working for law firm Minter Ellison Rudd Watts and had been based in the company's Sydney office.
Camden Council said an official investigation into what happened is under way and that staff are helping police.
