Two teenagers charged with murder
Two teenagers have been charged with the murder of a man thought to have been stabbed to death as he walked home from a friend's house.
T-shai Ennis, 18, and a 17-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, were due in court today over the death of David Headlam, 18.
Police were called to Drayton Road, Harlesden, north-west London, in the early hours of Sunday and found the victim with stab wounds.
He died shortly after at a central London hospital.
Police have said it was believed Mr Headlam was returning to his home in Harlesden from a friend's house when he was chased by two men wearing hoodies before he was stabbed.
A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as haemorrhaging due to stab wounds to the thigh.
Friends paid tribute to the teenager on Twitter.
One wrote: "Rip my family friend david headlam..Can't believe this!" Another said: "Still can't believe this. Known u for 6 years now. You will be missed by many. I know you are in good hands now. Rest in Peace."
Ennis, of Slough, and his co-accused were due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court.
A third man, aged 19, was arrested yesterday in Wembley, north London. He is in custody at a police station in north London, a Scotland Yard spokesman said.
