A 24-year-old will appear in court today charged with the murder of a man stabbed to death on a basketball court.

Simeon Wasey, 24, of no fixed abode, will appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates Court, accused of the murder of Nicholas Stewart, 25.

Mr Stewart was attacked in St John's Drive, Wandsworth, south-west London, and was pronounced dead at the scene on Wednesday at 9.49pm.

A post-mortem examination found that Mr Stewart, of Wandsworth, died after being been stabbed in the leg and chest.
