WHAT is wrong with people today?
I am so upset and annoyed about the lovely ponies you featured in your paper on Friday, 7 March that have been left to suffer, unable to walk due to neglect by their owners.
Thankfully now Merlin and Hobby are free from pain.
How could no one be bothered to get the ponies sorted and why keep them if you didn’t bother with them?
An animal is a 24-hour sevenday- a-week commitment, not a toy to come out of the cupboard when it suits.
A five-year ban is not enough.
These people should not be allowed anywhere near an animal for the rest of their lives.
It took years for these poor ponies to get like this. (An eye for an eye comes to mind).
