FOR over a year now we have been trying to get everything in place to ‘merge’ the Andover and Romsey Citizens Advice Bureaus.

This is very much due to financial pressures both by our funders and more important the lack of grants available these days.

At last we have been able to appoint Ange Moon as the new chief officer of the newly formed Test Valley Citizens Advice Bureau and we will therefore be looking for further paid staff members, both in Andover and Romsey.

These positions will be advertised in both local papers but should you wish to join our local charities, I would suggest you send a letter or email to me or telephone on 01264 396511 for further details.

The new bureau started officially on 1 July and we will be just one bureau with two offices in Andover and Romsey.

I do not believe you will find any difference when calling in, and we hope in the very near future our services will be even better than they are now, if that is possible.

Don’t forget that the Andover office has moved to London Street with lovely new premises.

I do hope you will want to join us and if you have any interest, my email address is christopher.lynn@talktalk.net
