IT is with regret that I have to report the closing down of RAF St Eval Coastal Command Association.
My chairman and the committee want to thank your newspaper for the support you have given our association over the past years.
RAF St Eval was in use from 1939 – 1959.
All ranks from RAF, WAAF and WRAF or next of kin who served in Coastal Command are invited to join RAF St Eval Coastal Command Association at St Eval Church for a final service when we will parade our Standard at the RAF St Eval Coastal Command Association Memorial, perform the act of Remembrance before laying up the Standard in St Eval Church.
The final reunion will be at The Fistral Beach Hotel in Newquay, Cornwall, on the 12, 13 and 14 September this year.
