RE article of 20 June – ‘councillor walks out in absence row’ and Mr Carr’s remarks.

If Mr Carr is supposed to attend TVBC meetings as the People’s Representative, I would imagine he should attend all meetings.

Surely he should be able to swiftly and correctly deal with any opposition thrown at him, in any committee situation.

The last paragraph quotes Mr Carr – ‘when the cross subsidies between The Lights and the museum cease, it is likely TVBC will have little or no representation in the running of the museum’, which maybe throws a little light on the situation but is not a reason for non-attendance.
